For over 30 years 3V Cogeim has been hitting the Bull’s eye operating in the solid-liquid separation and vacuum drying sectors. 3V Cogeim has always been able to anticipate the market needs with innovative technological solutions.
The solid-liquid separation is traditionally obtained using “Nutsche” type pressure filters.
In case drying is a crucial factor, or the transfer of wet cakes to a dryer creates problems with the production cycle, 3V Cogeim is able to develop customized equipment that can combine pressure filtration and vacuum drying.
The designs can include: fixed or removable bottoms with several closure options, various types of filter media, discharge systems suitable for wet or dry products and different agitator models.
Our products can be summarized by the filter models FPP and the filter-dryer models FPP/SD and FPP/XD.
In the area of batch production in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, vacuum drying is without a doubt the most efficient method to obtain dry solids from filtered or centrifuged wet cakes.
Our range of equipment can be divided into two different types of designs: the agitated, vacuum, vertical dryers, model EV (commonly called “Pan” dryers) and model EMV (conical dryers) and the agitated, horizontal, vacuum dryers, model EC - developed for the chemical industry - and model ES and EP - developed for the pharmaceutical industry – (commonly called “Paddle” dryers).
The 3V Cogeim range also includes equipment designed for: continuous processes like the rotating pressure filter, model FRP, and semi continuous processes like the leaf filter, model FAP.
